OT-Inspired Wellness Programs
Fitness with a purpose!
Traditional fitness programs aren't designed for everyone. When you're living with a neurological diagnosis, navigating changes related to aging, or worried about losing your balance and independence, simply "working out" may not be enough.
You may need exercise that considers how you move, how you think, how you feel, and how movement connects to the things you want to do every day.
That's where our OT-Inspired Wellness Programs come in. Designed by an occupational therapist, our wellness programs blend functional fitness, movement, and therapeutic principles to help you stay strong, active, safe, and independent for as long as possible. It's more than exercise. It's fitness designed around YOU.
Our programs are designed to sit in the space between traditional therapy and traditional fitness. Therapy focuses on addressing a specific functional problem through skilled intervention. Fitness focuses on improving physical health, strength, endurance, and performance. OT-Inspired Wellness brings elements of both together. You receive individualized exercise programming informed by an occupational therapist's understanding of function, safety, adaptation, and participation. This makes our programs an excellent supplement to therapy or a proactive option after therapy has ended.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this occupational therapy?
No. Our Wellness Programs are fitness and wellness services—not occupational therapy treatment. They are designed by an occupational therapist because of our expertise in functional movement, activity adaptation, safety, and participation. If you have a specific medical or functional problem that requires skilled therapy, we can discuss whether an occupational therapy evaluation may be more appropriate.
Is this personal training?
Our programs share some similarities with personal training, including individualized exercise instruction and fitness programming. The difference is our OT-informed approach. We consider how your physical, cognitive, sensory, neurological, and functional abilities affect your participation in exercise and everyday activities.
Can I participate if I have Parkinson's disease?
Yes. We have a particular interest in neurological wellness and Parkinson's-specific programming.
Exercise programs can be adapted based on your movement, balance, endurance, coordination, fatigue, and individual goals.
Do I need to be receiving occupational therapy?
No. Our Wellness Programs can be used as a stand-alone wellness service or as a supplement to an existing therapy program when appropriate.
Can I participate if I've never exercised before?
Absolutely. Your program is based on your current abilities—not where you think you "should" be.
We start where you are and gradually build from there.
Will I receive a home exercise program?
Depending on your program, we may provide recommendations or exercises to help you continue working toward your goals between sessions. The goal is to help you develop a sustainable approach to movement—not simply rely on your weekly appointment.
Where do sessions take place?
Our mobile model allows us to bring wellness services to you whenever appropriate. Sessions may take place in your home, a community setting, or a gym/fitness environment depending on your goals and program.
How often should I participate?
Frequency is individualized. Some clients may benefit from weekly sessions, while others may use wellness services for periodic check-ins, program progression, or additional accountability. We'll help determine a schedule that makes sense for your goals, needs, and lifestyle.
